Size 16x24 ~ This map uses two teams (odds-top vs. evens-bottom). ~ This map has the right amount of water/land ratio to be a universal map, you will probly have no idea if the enemy is comming from Land, Air, or Sea. This map is just big enough to make rushing a bit hard, yet its still possible. The land bridges are a perfect choke point, but dont let the enemy choke you off at your bridge! ~ The metal platforms do allow metal extraction. This was the original point of this map, was to show that it was possible. Too achieve this a custom feature had to be created. This is were the DRAX_FX.hpi file comes in. ~ The AI will take every advantage of the metal platforms. You will see that it will cover the whole platfrom with metal extractors, just like a player would. This is why I made the metal zone features size 3x3 to allow the AI to build like a pig, the AI only builds 1 extractor per deposit (as far as I have seen). ~ This map contains Metal to Green transition sections, wich allow metal and green tiles to mix with out poor results on one map. The sections will be available in .sct form within a .hpi file for all to use on their maps soon. I have not made the file yet because parts dont yet match up perfectly. For now copying and pasting the tiles will work for your map (use grid size 512).
